For this you will need:
Paint Shop Pro 7
My selection files. Unzip to your selections folder
My tube, preset and face image Unzip the preset to your PSP presets folder. Put the tube in your tubes folder . Put the face in a folder of your choice
The rose
Open a new image 500 X 500 pixels transparent
Add a new layer, name it leaves.Selections-load from disk and load 1roseleaves.sel
Floodfill with #008000. Effects-3D Effects-Inner Bevel and use the rose leaves preset you unzipped to your presets folder.
Ctrl+D to deselect
Next use the rose selections. You’re going to do the same thing for each selection.
I’ll tell you how to do the first one and then you just repeat this step for each selection.
Add a new layer. It‘s helpful to name them with the number of the selection you‘re opening in case you miss one, you will know where to add the layer to fix it.
Selections-load from disk. Load rose1.sel
Floodfill with #FF0000
Selections-invert-Effects-3D effects-drop shadow and use these settings
Vertical and Horizontal-0
Opacity-61, Blur 19.8
Shadow color-#612121
Repeat this step with rose2.sel through rose24.sel.
Layers-merge visible. Resize the rose to 75% of the original and make sure all layers is NOT checked. Save it and set this image aside.
To Make the faeries
Open a new image 139X 181 pixels transparent
Add a new layer, name it wings
Selections-load from disk, load tfaerye1wings.sel
Set your foreground to solid fill, color white. Click on your flood fill. Right click, choose tool options and set the opacity to 50%
Floodfill the wing selection. Effects-3D effects-inner bevel and use the rose leaves preset.
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer, name it wand. Load tfaerye2wand.sel. Set the opacity on your flood fill back to 100%
You can flood fill with Jasc’s metallic gradient and apply the same inner bevel. Or you can flood fill with white, and use PSP sculpture, eye candy chrome or a blade pro preset of your choice. For this, I just used the metallic gradient so everyone can do it.
Add a new layer, name it back hair. Selections-load from disk, load tfaerye3backhair.sel
Floodfill with whatever solid color you want. For this one, I used #C2AC8A
