For this you will need PSP 7
My selections and fills
Unzip the selections to your selections folder
open the images in PSP and minimize them on your workspace

Open a new image 120X 438 pixels transparent
Add a new layer, name it handle
Selections-load from disk, load handle.sel
Set your foreground to the ewood pattern, size 75, angle 0
Floodfill the selection
Selections-Invert
Effects-3D effects- Drop Shadow, use these settings

Vertical and Horizontal-0
Opacity 62 Blur 11.1
Color-Black

Ctrl+ D to deselect

Add a new layer, name it broom
Selections-Load from disk, load broom.sel
Set your foreground to the ebroom pattern, size 100, angle 0
floodfill
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer, name it straw 1
Selections-load from disk, load straw.sel
Change the size of the broom fill to 75 and the angle to 90
Floodfill
Go to colors-adjust-Brightness Contrast, Brightness 45, contrast 0
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer, name it straw 2
Selections-load from disk, load straw2.sel
Floodfill with broom fill using the same settings as before
Adjust the brightness contrast using same settings as before

Layers, merge visible and you're done
