This is modeled after a little house on the beach I go to every weekend. Isn't it cute?
For this you will need PSP 7
My Zip File The file erikashouse.pbv should be unzipped to your PSP presets folder. It is the inner bevel you will be using throughout the tut. The selection files and wood fill pattern should be unzipped to a folder you can easily locate later.

Open a new image 488X492 pixels, transparent
Open the wood pattern and minimize it on your workspace
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk, load 1.sel
Set your foreground to the wood fill, size 100, angle 0
Floodfill the selection. Now go to effects-3D effects-inner bevel and use the preset
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 2.sel
Change the angle on the woodfill to 90, floodfill the selection
Effects-3D Effects-Inner Bevel and use the same settings as before
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk, load 3.sel
Floodfill with #FAF8F6
Go to effects-texture effects-blinds, use these settings
width-3
Opacity-10
color-black
Horizontal and light from left top checked
Crtl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk, load 4.sel
Floodfill with the same cream color. Effects-Texture effects-blinds and use the same settings
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer.Selections-load from disk, load 5.sel
Leave your foreground set on the cream color. Set your background to #F6DDCE
Right click to floodfill with the background color
Change your texture (the thing under your background color) from null to brushstrokes. Left click to floodfill with the cream color.
Set your texture back to null
Effects-3D Effects-Inner Bevel and use the same Inner Bevel you used last
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer.Selections-load from disk, load 6.sel
Change your foreground back to the wood pattern, set the angle at 0 and floodfill
Effects-3d Effects-Inner Bevel and use the same inner Bevel
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections, load from disk, load 7.sel
Change the angle of the woodfill to 90, change the size to 150, and floodfill the selection
Go to effects-3D effects-inner bevel and use the same as you used before
Crtl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections, load from disk, load 9.sel
Floodfill with white. Use PSP sculpture, your favorite blade pro preset or eye candy chrome. I used eye candy chrome silver preset
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 10.sel
Use the woodfill, size 100, angle 90. Flood fill the selection
Effects-3D Effects-Inner Bevel, use the same settings
Ctrl+D to deselect
Go to effects-3D effects-drop shadow. Use these settings
Vertical-14
Horizontal-0
Opacity-30
Blur-10
Shadow color-Black
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 11.sel
Floodfill with #FAF8F6
Go to effects-Texture effects-texture. Use the stucco preset except change the size to 34
Effects-3D effects-Inner Bevel and use the same settings as before
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 12.sel
Floodfill using the wood pattern with an angle of 0
Effects-3D Effects-Inner Bevel, use the same settings as before
Now on the same layer, load 13.sel and repeat the floodfill and inner bevel
On the same layer, load 14.sel and repeat the floodfill and inner bevel
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 15.sel
Floodfill with the wood pattern and use the same inner bevel
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 16.sel
Floodfill with the wood pattern and use the same inner bevel
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 17.sel
Floodfill with the wood pattern and use the same inner bevel
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 18.sel
Floodfill with the wood pattern and use the same inner bevel
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 19.sel
Change the woodfill angle to 90. Floodfill with the wood pattern and use the same inner bevel
Ctrl+D to deselect
Now go to effects-3D Effects- Drop Shadow and use the same settings you used before
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 20.sel
Change the angle on the wood pattern back to 0. Floodfill with the wood pattern and use the same inner bevel
Ctrl+D to deselect
Add a new layer. Selections-load from disk. Load 21.sel
Change the angle on the wood pattern to 90. Floodfill with the wood pattern and use the same inner bevel
Ctrl+D to deselect
Decorate your house any way you want. When you are happy with it, go to layers-merge visible
