My name is Lexus but you can call me Lexi. I am a 10 year old yorkie. I came to live here August 27,2006. My new mommy had been looking for a no kill shelter or rescue to volunteer for. She found one that was close to her house. She went out to meet with the lady and look around. As mommy was going through the little dog area, she saw me. Mommy kinda tried to ignore me, but dang I was cute. After the lady showed Mommy around the other areas , she was coming back thorugh mine. She saw me again and asked if she could play with me. The lady said yes and took me out of the cage. Mommy played with me for a bit, and the lady told her more about me. I was so excited to be played with and so cute. The lady said I had been there for a month and she hadn’t seen me that happy in all the time I’d been there. Mommy didn’t want to make any snap decisions though. She gave me a kiss and told me while she couldn’t promise she’d take me home, she’d come back and see me. Two days later she was back. I remembered her and got all excited when I saw her. Mommy took me home with her that day . I am a perfect little lady. I am completely housebroken. I love attention, and tummy rubs. I am a little piggy and always want food, but because eating the wrong things caused me health problems in my other home from what Mommy was told, she only gives me my regular food. I am a little funny with other dogs, so mommy is careful. Bel annoys me, she keeps trying to play with me, so I growl at her. Lil avoids me, which makes me want to hang around her more. I DID tackle her one day, when grandma came over. Lil always runs to jump in her lap and I wanted the attention so I tackled her. I am smaller than her and can’t really hurt her, so it was just funny. Cleo and Sagi are older like me, so we get along well. Actually Sagi and I will hang out a lot. . I am the devil to get a picture of though, I always manage to move or turn my head. About me Birthday: WHO knows but we'll celebrate it on my adoption date Weight: at a waaay too fat 7 lbs. Mommy tried putting me on a diet of nothing but Nutro Natural Choice, Nutro Ultra treats and a 30 minute walk after 5 months my weight is the same. I have been dubbed the pork roast. The vet doesn't see a problem so mommy is not real worried but anyone can see I'm fat. Likes: Tummy rubs, sleeping in the bed with mommy, food and more food. I also like kisses and will return them. Being the dominant dog, I fight with Sagi when he challenges me. he doesn't hurt me, but argues. I argue right back. Dislikes: Other dogs challenging my authority or getting more attention than me. Vets and groomers. Cats but I am not sure if that's a like or dislike as I like barking at them and trying to boss them around. Not that it works. Here I am in my outfit I got for Xmas.
